This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

I have supplied three text files for use with messages:
Text_1 I created this file to demonstrate the program
Text_2 This text is from John Robinson's !Bake program which was on the
August 1992 subscription disc (and the first CD-ROM), but seems
American in origin. This is probably the best file to use with
the program
Text_3 This is from D. Salt's !Invasion program which was on the January
1994 disc, but I believe that the text was supplied by Jan Vibe.
To use a different text file, copy it into the !Messages directory, then
double click on !Update
