This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

FREE GAMES DEMO DISC BBC ACORN USER NOVEMBER 1991 ==================================================== This demonstration disc is supplied free with the November 1991 issue of BBC Acorn User. It contains demonstration versions of two games, produced specially for BBC Acorn User: "Lemmings" from Krisalis, and "Chocks Away" from The Fourth Dimension. To play either game DOUBLE-CLICK on its icon in the directory display and wait for the game to load. Before running Chocks Away, make sure you have saved any work in the Desktop. For further information, read the article relevant to this disc in the November issue of BBC Acorn User. Trouble-shooting ---------------- If you experience problems, try switching the machine off and starting again. If this still doesn't work you may want to perform a Power-on-reset which returns the computer's CMOS settings to those it possessed in the factory. (Of course this will NOT affect anything contained on any of your discs). To perform a Power-on-reset: switch off your computer, hold down the 'R' key on the keyboard then switch the computer on. When you see the Desktop, let go of R and then try to run the game again.
