This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Why not print this out? Simply load !Printers and drag this file's icon onto the printer icon on the icon bar. HOWTODEMO! This file tells you how to give someone else a demonstration of Sibelius. FLEXI-TIME Use the 'Flexi-time' file to try your hand at Flexi-time (see the manual or Manual Supplement for instructions). Change the time signature & key signature BEFORE you start if you don't want C major and 4/4. Four files illustrate the special Espressivo, Swing and Soundstage options: FOO PLAIN/ESPRESS Foo Plain has Espressivo off and no Swing. Foo Espress has Molto espress and 20% Swing (and so sounds a lot more like a real performance!) N.B. This will NOT work on the school version Sibelius 6. NARNIA MONO/STER NarniaMono has all instrument sounds positioned in the middle. NarniaSter (=stereo) has Soundstage switched on, so all instruments are automatically positioned as if on a concert stage - not only in the correct directions, but with the correct distance (simulated by balance and relative reverb). (Soundstage is not available on the school version Sibelius 6 but the file will nonetheless play in stereo.) This works best with headphones connected to a sound card or sound module. TEXT+MUSIC This is an Impression file, showing how you can export music (as a Draw file) to incorporate it into books and essays, or to make posters and cover pages.
