V/+BUGS
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

! BUGS ! AFTER a brief absence to lull us all into a false sense of security, the bugs returned in force to EUG #49 with the omission of the Electron User Group information and the text file on how to operate the Configuration Menu. DFS versions of the disks (distributed before 5th March 2000) were so affected. Furthermore, there was a vital error in Retro BBC's Guide to hacking Disk Protection. Correcting the missing text files will be simple for most readers as they are identical to those on this disk (and previous disks) and can be *COPYed across. The files are V.+EUG and V.+CONFIG. It is a memory address in the second file of the Disk Protection art- icle which needs to be manipulated. The original file states: " To stop the code from executing the protected file code, type: " >?&499=&60 (Return from subroutine) <RETURN> In fact, this address is incorrect. The line should read: >?&447=&60 (Return from subroutine) <RETURN> and this fault makes all the difference. As usual, we offer grovelling apologies. Unfortunately, it is some- times impossible for all utilities such as this to be comprehensively checked prior to the magazine's compilation. They are only brought to light by disgruntled readers!
