CONTENTS Changing stem directions Adjusting stem-lengths See manual for: Sung middle-line stems up; Stems up on 1-line staves; stem transfers CHANGING STEM DIRECTIONS Select a note or chord and press Ctrl-F10. To change the direction of all stems along a beam, do Ctrl-F10 to the first note only. ADJUSTING STEM-LENGTHS Select a note or chord, and press: � Ctrl-Shift-F2 to make the stem longer, � Ctrl-Shift-F3 to make it shorter, � Ctrl-Shift-F4 to return the stem to its default length. The stem can be made any length by pressing Ctrl-Shift-F2/F3 repeatedly. You can even make a stemless note this way. For beamed notes, you may have to press the keys repeated- ly before a visible effect is produced. $
