This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Installation ============ This installation is intended to create a new copy of !Xuen on your machine or update an old version. Older versions of !Xuen were be called !Start, and you can positively identify an older !Xuen by looking in the !Start info box and checking that the author was Barny Short. To install a fresh copy of !Xuen on your computer, drag and drop the !Xuen directory to wherever you want to put it. Don't try and run from a floppy disc as it may horribly slow your desktop down. To update your old copy of !Start or !Xuen, rename your old !Start directory to !Xuen if it has not already been done so, drag and drop the new !Xuen directory onto the old application so that it overwrites it. Your configuration files should stay intact. Remember you will need to quit !Start/!Xuen and rerun !Xuen to use the new verson. Barny Short 08-Mar-1998
