This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Wanna Kern ~~~~~~~~~~ The need for this application is quite obvious from the title. The writing of it arose from the need to quickly and easily kern text for use in !Draw and the like. It is possible to do what this application does in !Draw by typing in each character individually and then dragging them around. This can be a little tricky though and time consuming. With this application you can kern the needed text in seconds. Sometimes you want to tightly kern a title to give it a striking effect or stretch out the spacing to give it a cooler and classic look. At other times, if you are using a PD font in a large size, it is often necessary to change the kerning as it never seems to look quite right. The application has been designed to run neatly on my Arm 2 A310 so I am sure that it will run quite nicely on anything better (can you get worse?).
