This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

SPOBBLEOID FANTASY
Spobbleoid Fantasy is both the sequel and major
update/enhancement to the original SPOBBLEOID which
was released last year.
In addition to including the 6 zones from the
original game, Fantasy also includes a further 6
new zones making a total of 72 levels.
The package also includes a complete level design
utility with which you can create your own new
levels making variations almost limitless!
Other improvements over the original include
- Enhanced graphics
- Entirely re-written music including in-game
soundtrack throughout
- Enhanced sound FX
- Extended options
- A more powerful graphics engine to cope!
- RiscPC Compatability (In addition a RiscPC
specific version will be available soon to
get rid of those 'letterbox' screen displays!)
The Game
The game is ridiculously simple to play but
requires a healthy degree of logical thought - for
those who like shooting, there are no guns...
The object of the game is to collect ALL of the
objects of each of the levels. Later levels in the
full game require you to kill all of the monsters -
just when you thought it was too easy!
The gameplay involves pushing the blocks around in
the playing area to gain access to the objects.
Some blocks will not move, some require keys to
open them before they move, some will lock after a
time delay etc, refer to !HELP for details.
And that is it really. Simple.
The Demo
The demo contains only 2 zones (as opposed to 12 in
the full game). The levels in these zones are an
assortment from the full game ranging from the very
easy to the more difficult, however they do not
include all of the features from the full game, so
you'll just have to buy it!
The full game also includes a full options system,
high score table, passwords and 60 more levels!
The controls are as follows
Z - left, X - Right, " - Up, ? - Down
RETURN - Push P - Pause
R - Retry level (Hold it down)
CTRL + R - Abort game (Hold them down)
On start screen
CTRL + ESC - Exit to desk
CTRL + S - Toggle sound
In addition on an A3010, a joystick can be used.
