!Budget is designed to make the task of balancing your personal budget
considerably easier.
!Budget supports interactive help

All deletion operations within !Budget require confirmation

There are three main areas to !Budget
1) Main - Displays end results - Provides control over results
Window
period - Provides choice between Income & Outgoings
2) Income - Provides input of new headings,amounts & income period
Window
Provides editing of existing headings etc
3) Outgoings - Provides input of new headings,amounts & outgoing periods
Window
Provides editing of existing headings etc - For more
detailed analysis of outgoings a Breakdown Window can be
opened.
Full explanation of !Budget

!Budget installs as normal on the icon bar.Icon bar menu consists of
Info,Save and Quit,all straightforward.This menu can also be accessed from
the main window.Unless !Budget has been started by double clicking on a
Budgie file,only the main window will be present.
Main Window -
===========
Income/Outgoing Icon - Click SELECT on either Income or Outgoings,the
====================
relevant window will open.
Period Icon - Click SELECT to increase the period to which the totals
===========
relate.Click ADJUST to decrease period.
Income/Outgoing � Icon - Displays total amounts of income and outgoings
======================
respectively for the period displayed in the period Icon.
Difference � Icon - Shows the difference between income and outgoings,in
=================
red if you're in trouble.
Income/Outgoings Window - The following applies to both the income and out

going window.
Period Icon - Click SELECT to increase the period to which the heading

and amount relate.Click ADJUST to decrease.Periods covered are
WEEKLY - FORTNIGHTLY - FOURWEEKLY - MONTHLY - QUARTERLY - YEARLY
Heading Icon - Enter name of heading i.e. WAGES

Amount Icon - Enter the amount for heading (see below for outgoing

difference)
Delete Icon - If a heading is selected,will delete that heading.If
===========
nothing is selected,will delete all records within !Budget.
Display Section - Below control panel.Click SELECT over any existing

heading will select that heading for amendment or deletion through the
above icons.Click with ADJUST will cancel any selection.
The following applies only to the outgoing window

Amount Icon - If RETURN is pressed while no amount is entered,a

breakdown window for that heading will open (see below for explanation
of breakdown window)
Display Section - If SELECT clicked over a heading with a "*" (signifying ===============
that a breakdown of the heading exists) a breakdown window will be opened
for amendment or deletion.
Breakdown Window - Any of the following operations carried out within the

breakdown window will also affect the relevant outgoing heading.
Period Icon - Cilk with SELECT will increase the period.ADJUST will

decrease it.
OK Icon - Click with SELECT will close breakdown window and return to

outgoing window.Use of this Icon is not essential to 'fix' any inputs
made.The main window Income or Outgoing Icons may be used instead.
Delete Icon - Click with SELECT when an item is selected will delete that

item.SELECT when no item is selected will delete all items within the
breakdown and also the associated outgoing heading.
Item Icon - Enter name of item.

Amount Icon - Enter amount required.

Display Section - Click with SELECT over any existing item to select that

!Budget as it stands can support 20 different incomes,each with
their own time period, and 20 different outgoing headings each capable of
a breakdown of 50 items.It could easily be extended by changing the items%
and entries% values within the programme.Memory requirements are fairly
modest unless you develop a very detailed outgoings section.
If you find any strange programming methods,my apologies but I do
not possess any PRM's.
