StarInfo/Waring/!Matches/!Help
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

!Matches ======== Desktop game written by David J. Waring Rules ===== This is a two player game (The computer can be the second player). Each player, in turn, takes as many matches as they wish from one of the rows. The object of the game is to force your opponent to remove the last match. You can play against another person, or the computer, and can decide which player goes first. Warning ======= If you let the computer go first, it is virtually impossible to beat. It's pretty difficult to beat even if it goes second. This software may be freely copied/distributed as long as it is done so without making profit from the distribution, and the whole program is copied/distributed. ie the usual conditions.
