This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

A pretty version of Space Invaders, to demonstrate the Popcorn
library. Hope you like it. Keys are:
Z - Left Enter - Fire
X - Right Space - Special weapon
Bugs

This is an incomplete version, and needs far too much in the way of disc
space, processor speed and so on... It also may crash in a variety of
colourful ways, so save everything before playing. So far, I know about
these problems, in order of severity:
* Occasional lock-ups while playing; Ctrl+Break doesn't work in
these situations.
* Screen memory goes strange sometimes when you quit the game;
another reset job if you want to see your desktop.
* Game slows down on ARM6 machines only, despite my carefully
thought-out compensation loop.
* Aliens get out of formation if you leave them for more than half a
minute or so.
