KT20 5NJ 17th January 1997 Dear Gus, I enclose a disc containing two submissions for publication in the EUG magazine. The first is a title screen for the magazine, and consists of two files: "Title" and "TitData". "Title" is a BASIC program which should be RUN to start the screen. "TitData" is a graphics file which cannot be copied as a BASIC program, so be careful that it remains intact when you copy it. The second submission is the arcade adventure which I mentioned in my previous letter to you. The game is called "Ship Wrecked", and consists of 80 screens of MODE 2 graphics. It consists of 4 files, the filenames of which all start with the word "Ship". To start the game, use CHAIN"Ship". Files Ship2 and Ship3 are machine code files, which may not be copied using LOAD and SAVE, as if they were BASIC programs. On the disc there is also a BASIC program called "Cheat" which is a cheat for Ship Wrecked. I suggest that you have two options on the Games menu of EUG: one for "Ship Wrecked without cheat", which performs CHAIN"Ship", and one for "Ship Wrecked with cheat", which performs CHAIN"Cheat".
