This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

The settings directory contains a collection of different grey-map settings. They are all 2*2 sampling, 0 degrees rotation. They can be loaded simply by double clicking on them when the Altered window is on screen. Once loaded in this way, these settings become the new default settings. (Refer to the ScanLight Plus version 2 manual for details.) The example scanned image (saved as a DrawFile) can be loaded into ScanLight by dragging its icon to the !Scanner application on the icon bar. It is an example of a scanned image produced with the ScanLight 256 hand- held scanner. The file called UpdateABI details what to do if you get an error that tells you �the ABI module is out of date in !System� when you run the Scanlight software.
