Dear Gus,
Following our phone conversation a couple of weeks ago, here is some
more stuff from the HeadFirst archives for you to include in EUG - The
Mode 7 emulation disc, and the Shadow Ram Database. The Mode 7 disc has
numerous programs to do with emulating Mode 7 on an Electron, the main one
being a Mode 7 emulation program for 64K Electrons. The Shadow Ram
Database is simply a database for 64K Electrons.
After your call, I decided to open up my Elk and clean up the inside
as well as having a fiddle around with the ULA. This seems to have
stopped it misbehaving as much as it did before (crashing etc.), meaning
I could use it to do this disc for you rather than use Gareth's which I did
for the first one. Its nice to be able to use it without fear of it
crashing at an important moment.
I have enclosed a cheque for `2.60 for the next couple of issues of
EUG. I look forward to receiving them.
