This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Around two years ago, now, the Electron lost it's only existing dedicatedpublic domain library - Electron PD. Since then no other library hasstocked itself with software which is guaranteed to be compatible with theElectron computer. However, now things are about to change. Last month I purchased from Robert Cooper the master disks for Electron PD, and decidedthat since people would have joined the scene since the library closed,that I would open it up again. Unfortunately, I have limited hardware capability, which has caused thelibrary to be more restricting than the original. Firstly, I can now onlyproduce software for ADFS Size 'M' disk drives (which excludes tapedrives), and it can no longer be a pick-your-own library; I will have anumber of disks for sale, and they can only be brought complete. Secondly, I will supply all disks. Finally, because I will have to get onwith my own life, the disks will only be available up to March 31st. Thisis the date on which the library will close. If you do wish to order, then please supply your name and address, and acheque payable to 'R. Little', specifying which disks you would like tobuy. Cheques payable to Electron PD will have to be returned - sorry! Remember, there is no need to include a disk.
