This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Artist: A Complete 256-colour Art Package by R A Swetman Run this option to open a directory containing the Artist application, and a text file called Instructs which contains full instructions for the package. You can run Artist from this disc without problem, but if you try to save any pictures into the internal Pics directory, you will get an error, as this disc is compressed. You should copy the application to another disc and run it there. There are three example pictures provided in the !Artist.Pics directory, which can be loaded into Artist using the L key. Alternatively, they can be loaded into Paint directly by opening the directory (hold down SHIFT, double-click on !Artist, double-click on Pics and load the files into Paint).
