This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Demo version of Larger By Warm Silence Software Larger (reviewed in Acorn User, September 1993) is a very comprehensive backdrop application, which not only provides a flexible backdrop facility, but also a virtual desktop, which effectively gives you an infinite desktop. The demo is a complete working version of Larger which is time-bombed to work only between 10 January 1994 and 10 March 1994 (inclusive). Instructions for Larger can be found inside the Manual directory, as well as in the help file for the application (click Menu over the !Larger icon and choose help from the App submenu). The manual is provided as a set of draw files, one per page. The full version can be obtained from Warm Silence Software, St Catherines College, Manor Road, Oxford, OX1 3UJ.
