This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Controls:
Z - Left
X - Right
' - Up
/ - Down
Return - Fire. (Most important button.)
Whilst on the title screen:
Q - Turns sound off &
S - Turns sound on.
Escape will leave the game at ay time.
Object:
There are five zones to complete, and each zone has different types of
enemies, shoot the bases as well to get extra points.
Your score is shown at the top of the screen whilst playing the game, there
is also a high score table in which you can input your new high score.
Zones:
Later zones have more aliens and there's an extra
life after zone 3. But, your batteries are going and,
since you don't have any spare plutonium to hand, this
means your plasma cannon does not want to fire as
often as you might like in later zones. Ah well, such is
life!
Pink Level:
Watch out for the PINK level.
ARM3 Users:
If you have an ARM 3 (you lucky beggars) the
game will use it for a more fancy display,
so, load up your support program now!
Warning:
If the game crashes load up !Runimage and
remove line 90. Re-save it and the game
should work.
