This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

Calendar is a simple calendar program which will work from the years
1995 to 2100. It displays a calendar in a window for each month as that month
is selected.
To run calendar, double click on its icon. It will load and present
itself on the iconbar. When its icon is clicked, a window will open
displaying the current month as obtained from the system clock. The format of
the calendar is much the same as for any other calendar, either on computer
or on paper. The year number, as obtained from the system clock using OSWORD
14, is only valid to the year 1999, as the year number obtained is only the
last two digits. But I'd worry about that nearer the time!
Clicking the Menu button over either the window or the icon will produce
a menu containing the usual Info and Quit items, and an option named New
Month. This dialogue box allows you to change the month and year. To do this,
use the left and right arrows and click OK when you are happy. You can also
revert to the current month by clicking on the Current option.
Changes to the calendar, a month at a time, can be made from the window
by clicking on the up and down icons next to the month, at the top of the
window. If the month displayed is the current month, the day is highlighted.
The month name in the main window uses the font Trinity.Bold at 36pt.
This font must be available. This is not a problem for RISC OS 3 users, but
RO 2 users must first open the filer window containing the !Fonts
application.
