This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Intro
-----
This provides a way deleting files similar to the
Macintosh� by dragging the file(s) to the pedal bin
icon on the iconbar.
How to use
----------
Drag file(s) to be deleted to the pedal bin icon.
The bin changes to a fat icon if the bin contains
files.
The files are not deleted immediately but stored in
the applications storage directory <BinFiles$Dir>.
To open the bin click on the bin icon.
To empty the bin choose 'Empty bin' from the
application's menu. The program will ask you to
confirm this by telling you the number of files it
is about to delete. Clicking on 'Cancel' will not
delete the files. If files are locked they will not
be deleted and you will be told how many files
could not be deleted.
You can empty the bin including locked files using
the 'Force bin empty' menu item. This will delete
all files including locked ones. Once deleted the
files will be irrecoverable! You will be ask to
confirm deletion before it takes place.

Please note that the WIMPTOOLS module is NOT!! PD!
