QUICK FORMATTER As its name suggests, Quick formatter will format your discs in a fraction of the time the MSdos utility takes. It works by simply formatting each track in turn, first on one side then the other, and its speed comes through not verifying the format. You have two options you can specify. Firstly, you can choose whether to format drive A or B (Formatting drive C is not allowed, as this can be dangerous - if you need to do this, use the standard MSdos utility) by typing either QF A or QF B (the colon is not required). Secondly, following the drive option you can type the letter V. This lets you switch the verify option back on if you are unsure about a particular disc. Because the program doesn't verify, it is recommended that you only use it on new or well looked after discs. Syntax: QF (drive letter) <V>
