!Help for Compressor v1.00 Introduction ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Compressor is an application specifically written to be used in conjuction with Stereo. Because of the 160k taken up by each autostereogram map, this program will compress any sprite which contains colours in long 'strings'. This means that autostereograms are probably the only sprites that will benefit from this type of compression. Compression ~~~~~~~~~~~ Drag your stereogram map on to the Compressor icon. The compressed file will then be saved in place of the original file. Decompression ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To recover the original sprite, drag the compressed file back on to the Compressor icon. Disc space permitting, the decompressed sprite should be saved under the same name.
