This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Brief

This utilitly allows you to resize windows by dragging any corner or edge.
Conditions
~~~~~~~~~~
This program is FREEWARE, so you can copy it and pass it around as much as
you like as long as none of the files are modified or deleted.
It has been tested only on RISC OS 3.6.
There is no warranty, but please report any bugs to me.
How to use it
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
� Move to the 'back' icon (top left of window).
� Press and hold down Adjust.
� If the window can be resized then the window is outlined and a grid drawn
over it.
� Move the mouse over the edge you want to move (still holding down Adjust).
� Drag the edge to its new position.
� Release Adjust.
Note : If the window is partly off the screen then moving to the edge of the
screen will resize the edge that is out of reach.
If you move over the middle third of an edge then just that edge is moved.
If you move over part of the edge nearer to a corner then both edges can be
moved at once.
A word of warning though - if you cross the window over (eg drag the bottom
to above the top) then the final position will be slightly wrong, due to
the size of the scroll bars and title bar. This may mean that the back icon
goes right off the top of the screen, if you are one of the strange people
who have this enabled.
To put this in your boot sequence it can go in
!Boot.Choices.Boot.Tasks
Actually, you can load it whenever you like (before or after the desktop
starts).
