PES 'IMAGE DISCS' Theme based clip art for the Archimedes.
Primary Educational Services was conceived and established in 1991,
initially to exploit the educational uses of !DRAW which clearly has
great potential in the classroom. From its inception to the present day
a total of 51 theme based discs has been developed representing over 32
megabytes of clip art - all !DRAWfiles. While the main use of these
files is in the classroom they do have other applications. In order to
facilitate those uses PES devised a unique PICK & MIX CATALOGUE. This
contains over 1000 pictures, each picture having the amount of K that it
occupies clearly written beside it. Purchasers can choose the images
that they want and purchase a full (800K) disc. This has the great
advantage you being able to see before they buy.

The average number of images on a disc is 31. Some discs, Birds of Prey 1 & 2 and Beowulf for
instance have few images as they are large files, one, Flags has 188 images. Man in Space is
drawn from an 11 years olds project book and is not therefore for the technically minded.

Prices
"Image Discs"
These cost �6.50 each. There is a 10% discount for purchases of 4 or more discs.
Postage and packing costs �1.50 for up to 10 discs and �3.00 over 10 discs. VAT must be
added to these prices. LEA orders welcome
Site Licenses.
The PES license is based on the disc label. Images may not legally be loaded from a disc
without a bona-fide label. Each image disc is supplied with one spare label, implying a site
license for two computers. Schools and other institutions with more than two machines ought
to buy spare labels for each extra machine @ �1.25 per label.
Pick & Mix Discs
These discs cost �15.00 each. This includes post/packing and VAT. If you have bought
the catalogue you may deduct �2.00 from your first order
