This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

PRINTER BUFFER

This application provides a WIMP front-end for the
printer buffer module produced by Anton Carver, and
provided on Careware disc 5.
To use, double-click on the !PrBuffer application;
this will install the Printer Buffer icon on the
icon-bar. Clicking 'menu' on this icon provides a
menu with the following options:
Info - gives information about the
program;
Buffer size - displays current buffer size,
bytes used, bytes free, and
allows buffer size to be changed
(equivalent to *Buffer [<n> [k]]
Flush - flushes buffer
(equivalent to *Flush)
No buffer - removes buffer
(equivalent to *NoBuffer)
Quit - removes application.
To display or change buffer size, move pointer to
right of 'Buffer size' option on menu, when a
window will open, showing current buffer size (k),
bytes used, bytes free. To change buffer size,
delete current size and type in new value; pressing
RETURN will update the values in this window. To
