Opus ---- All was quiet in blockland, with peace and tranquility everywhere. Men were men, women were women, and Bill was dead again. Little did anyone know that the peace was going to be shattered... when the meanies returned! In this arcade conversion you play the role of Opus the penguin. It is your designated task to roam the sixteen levels of blockland, killing the meanies in order to save penguinkind as we know it. The only known way of killing a meanie is with an ice-block. To do this, you must first position yourself behind an ice-block, and press the PUSH key. However, a second ice-block in the way will prevent your block from moving, thus crumbling it. Certain levels contain red blocks, which are too heavy for Opus to move, and some even have invisible blocks, which only show up if you try to move them! Each level also contains four special grey-blocks. If you can align these blocks to read 'BILL', across or down, you will receive an extra bonus of 5000 points! Bonuses appear randomly on the screen, in the form of fruit. Eat these for extra points. Extra lives appear in the form of purple penguins. Before progressing to the next level, you must kill all the meanies. Death is caused by contact with a meanie, or by taking too long on a level. You start the game with three lives, on level one.
