This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

1. Lynsoft has now become a new source of excellent artwork with a
difference! Striking new artwork never before seen on the
Archimedes or any other computer! Makes a change, artwork being
launched here first and the USA second!
2. This artwork was commissioned originally by the 'small press' to
illustrate stories; for use as clipart fillers and borders; or as cover
illustrations.
11. The first three artists contributing work to this series specialise in
Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Movie and TV images.
12. The Macabre Art of Kerry Earl - Volumes 1,2 and 3. Mr Earl is a well-
known, prolific illustrator of small press magazines. The emphasis
with this collection is on horror with Volume 1 a good example of
the style and power of Mr Earl's artwork!! Volume 2 includes a large
selection of film/TV images of both Horror and Science Fiction
classics from "Frankenstein" to "Terminator 2". Volume 3 includes a
selection of panels which can be used as dynamic borders as well as
a variety of half screen story illustrations. (first seen in magazines
like "Interzone","Exuberance","Auguries"etc.)
13. The Fantasy Art of Russell Morgan - Volumes 1 and 2. Successful
illustrator Russell Morgan has had work published in magazines found
on the shelves of W.H.Smith ("Interzone", "BBR") and has recently
picked up some interesting commissions from the U.S.A. His work is
detailed, evocative and is largely concerned with Science Fiction
and Fantasy themes although some amusing caricatures are included
on Volume 2. Such is the quality of his work that many magazines
have used them as cover illustrations!
14. The Graphic Art of Roger Morgan - Volume 1. Not as prolific as the
other two but his work is dynamic and thought-provoking. Largely,
Science Fiction imagery of a very high standard.
16. Each volume is held on a single disk and contains around 30 individual
compressed sprites (approx. 2.5Mb of material). Every disk also
contains a copy of the current version of !SparkPlug; a text file
with some background information, an index of the titles contained on
the disk (to print for reference), licensing details; and some
examples of the sprites in use (space permitting)!
17. Each disk/volume retails at �7.99 which includes postage and packing!
18. A sample disk containing over 20 sprites taken from currently
available volumes, and a few examples from forthcoming volumes, is
available at �4.99 inclusive!
19. Each Volume (excluding the sample disk) is compiled from the work
of an individual artist.
20. The Kerry Earl disks (Volume 1,2 & 3), Russell Morgan (Volume 1 & 2)
and Roger Morgan (Volume 1) - are now available.
