This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

ApriLot is a fun! lottery calculator
It is in the public domain for all and sundry to use as they see fit
There are 3 windows:
1. The calculator which predicts:
a: A random selection
b: A random selection weighted in favour of the most winning numbers
c: A random selection weighted in favour of the least winning numbers
d: A random selection weighted in favour of both the above
e: A selection based on the above results
There are two further functions in this window:
a: Click on Sort to sort the numbers into ascending order
b: Click on Re-Calc to recalculate the numbers
2. A lottery history window
You can keep !ApriLot up to date by filling in the latest results here
As well as using PageUp/Down there are a number of keyboard short cuts:
Insert: Moves direct to the next unused result line
Home : Moves to the first draw in the history
Up/Down arrow keys: Moves up down a line
Copy: Deletes the text to the right of the cursor
Delete: Deletes the text to the left of the cursor
3. The statistics window
The top line shows the actual lottery numbers 1 to 49
The bottom line shows how many times that number has been drawn
Click on the 'Sort Numbers' field to sort them by ascending order of wins
Another click will sort them into descending order of wins
A further click will sort them back again
By clicking and holding down the Select mouse button the data in any of the windows
can be dragged either direct to another application or to a disc.
