This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

Float changes the keyboard layout, the System Font, and the font encoding. It allows the use of floating accents, rather than the fixed accent/character combinations provided by the normal Latin1 character set, in Trinity, Homerton and Corpus typestyles. Users of Computer Concepts' Impression, Style and Publisher applications can adjust the position of accents, relative to the associated letters, using Float - see the article in Acorn User, . . .
