Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Introduction
Saving a page as a graphic

INTRODUCTION
Sibelius can save a page as a picture (or
'graphic'), either to disk or to other appli-
cations. This gives Sibelius an enormous
flexibility, since you can:
� Embed music in other documents, e.g. music
books or programme notes. All music examples
in the manual were saved directly from
Sibelius into Impression II - no scissors
and glue were required!
� Alter a score in a graphics editor such as
Draw, so you can add symbols which Sibelius
doesn't have or adjust markings for special
purposes. You can even colour scores in,
which is required in a small number of
contemporary pieces.
� Cut up, stretch and colour music to incor-
porate it into posters and other design
work.
SAVING A PAGE AS A GRAPHIC
� Click on the toggle size icon at the top
right of the editin window, so that you can
see the desktop
� If you have not already done so, locate a
!Fonts directory
� Go into Score�Save graphic
� Type the number of the page you want into
the Page box
� If you are saving to disk, type a filename
into the other box
� Drag the file icon into another application
window or into a directory window.
