This utility accepts a MTV image file created with either the MTV
raytracer or RayShade, and converts it to a standard mode 15 sprite
which can be loaded into !Paint.
To use this utility, drag a MTV file onto the icon bar, and then
save the Spritefile in the normal way. The utility will then
proceed to convert the image.
If you have a copy of !Translator then it is a good idea to use
this because it is much faster and can perform error spreading
which looks far better on pictures that blend from one colour
to another.

The speed at which conversion takes place is not due to the fact
the utility is written in BASIC, but the time the ColourTrans
module takes in deciding which colour available closest matches
that required.
This utility does not at this time incorporate error spreading,
and I advise using !Translator if you have it. Error Spreading
makes the final images look far better.
