This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Usage: *DUMP <File> [<offset> [<addr>]]

DUMP is a machine  code utility used to
provide a hexadecimal dump of any file,
optionally  starting at a given  offset
(specified in hex) within the file.

  For each  line of output, dump prints
the corresponding address; this address
defaults to  start at the load  address
of  the file (except -1 defaults to 0),
but may  be  specified  (in hex) on the
command line, if required.

  You may prematurely  escape from DUMP
by pressing ESCAPE.


DUMP uses  memory &900-&AFF, and should
therefore be 'transparent' in use. (i.e
it won't corrupt language workspace).
