This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Thanks and credits ------------------ For modules used and distributed with the program: John Kortink for the LZW module. Jon Ribbens of DoggySoft for the excellant WimpExtension module. I wholeheartedly recommend any software at all from anybody at DoggySoft, it is, on the whole, excellent. :-) For software used during the development of EasyAnim: Dominic Symes for the incredibly fast, not to mention extremely useful, Zap. If anybody out there is still using CRAP DeskEdit or even the SUPER-CRAP Edit, change to Zap NOW!! :-> Dick Alstein for TemplEd which is essential for proper window design. 4Mation for Snippet, which, despite being possibly the most buggy program I have ever seen (at v2.50), is much better than Paint. Darren Salt for writing the ExtBASICasm module which is a bit messier but slightly better than BAX. Acorn for the A4000, A5000, Risc PC and A310. For anything else: NCS for being very helpful, publishing the incredibly good Archive magazine and answering some technical queries. The Acorn User staff for writing such terribly good stuff, really. My father for testing the program and my brother for drawing some of the examples.
