Examples/!Animals/BAT
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

The bat has poor eyesight and uses ultrasonic sound wave echoes to find its prey and avoid obstacles. This type of bat prefers deciduous and mixed forests, avenues of trees and parks. It hibernates in winter in hollow trees and buildings. Bats are usually born singly in June or July and will fly by the autumn. The baby bat is carried around by the mother for about a fortnight, after which time she will hang it by its feet somewhere safe while she goes hunting. A bat hunts for food at night, locating and catching moths and other insects in flight.
