This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

!BlackHole (c) 1992 Linton Dawe. This simple application opens a filer window for the system device 'null:'. The purpose of this is to provide a quick way of destroying unwanted data without the need for a special (memory consuming) access/delete application. To delete a file, directory or application, simply hold down Shift and drag the filer icon into the 'null:' window. This moves the file from disc and into 'null:' which swallows up all input. As it uses a feature which is built in to RISC OS, this application does not consume any task manager memory, however you should be careful as it does not ask you for confimation unless you have 'Confirm' switched on on your filer menu. This application is Public Domain. It may be freely copied provided that it is not sold for profit and is not modified in any way.
