This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

This demo contains one of the first simple levels of the full game, try experimenting with equipment from the shop and have fun attacking the computer player. Use dynamite to start floods or damage the computer's equipment. The pink jewels (Jennite) that can be found lying around but can not be mined are very valuable and worth the risk of getting to. One aspect of the game that the demo will not portray is the overall idea of making money as later levels need more and more money to invest in equipment. The full game contains 34 cunningly designed levels, 4 races of diggers each with their own characteristics, 6 different graphical lands, more music and full intro and outro sequences. The full game contains over 4Mb of data and may be installed on a hard disc. The full game is available from: Millennium Interactive Ltd, Quern House Mill Court Great Shelford Cambridge CB2 5LD Owners of SVGA, VGA and some multisync monitors may find that the normal mode that diggers runs in will not display correctly on their monitor. If this is the case load Diggers' !Run file into !Edit and change the line that says: RMEnsure DiggersMode 0.00 RMRUN <Diggers$Dir>.50KHzMode To RMEnsure DiggersMode 0.00 RMRUN <Diggers$Dir>.100KHzMode If this still does not work then contact Millennium with the specifications of your monitor.
