This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

!SFXM is a unique package in what it enables and allows you to do. We at C.I.S. have had a great deal of pleasure testing the program and making new sounds for forthcoming projects. What is most obvious from the package is that doing the least obvious things can create the most interesting sounds. It would be impossible in a manual about a sound creation package to write about all the possibilities, simply because they are endless. The only limit is your imagination, exploratory abilities and creativity. We have outlined some of the permutations available, the rest is up to you, the user. We hope that you have fun with our package! If you do, ask your friends to buy a copy, don't give them your one or you will end up paying more for out next program.
