FontMgr2/!Manual/FontMGR2
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Text for !FontMGR2 : Many users are currently using Font Manager Release One, and now release two has been completed with a sensational new interface. The utility is designed to replace !Fonts, and therefore it should sit in your root directory with only one copy residing on your hard disc at once. It allows you to manipulate, move, import and export fonts within groups. These groups can then be turned on and off and hence fonts can be 'hidden'; an invaluable feature. For those users who use !FontMGR and wish to upgrade to !FontMGR2, run the supplied utility !FM1FM2. If you are using !Fonts, then place !FontMGR2 on your hard disc and then create a group and drop !Fonts onto that group. Internal restrictions not created by !FontMGR2 unfortunately restrict you to 24 groups, but this still means you can store more than 1500 font families under ADFS which is hopefully more than anybody could ever want. The new release is shareware, at the incredibly low cost of UK2.00. This low price is in order to encourage people to be honest and to make it affordable to every user. Try it.
