This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

OmniDesk Utilities: TextGrab By Richard Hallas TextGrab is an application which can be used either on its own, or as part of the OmniDesk application. Help for the application can be obtained by clicking Menu over the TextGrab icon in the directory window, moving over the App. 'TextGrab' submenu, and choosing the Help menu entry. Running this option will simply open up a directory display containing the application and the Interface module. You should load this module before running the utility, and if you intend to use the utility often, it is easier to copy the module into your system folder. To do this, locate your copy of !System which you use, double-click on it while holding down SHIFT, open the Modules directory, and copy the Interface module into this. In future, when you run the utility, the Interface module will be automatically loaded from your system directory. To add the application to OmniDesk, where it can interact with other OmniDesk utilities, open up the directory !OmniDesk.Utilities, and copy the application there.
