!TTFN/Docs/!BUGS!
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

A list of - ahem - "Known Design Features" ------------------------------------------ 1. If a Followup-To: line containing "Sender" or "Poster" then it tries to send it to a newsgroup called "Sender" or "Poster". Will be easier to fix when Adam gets round to releasing a version of TCPIP that doesn't have screwed direct nntp posting. 2. Deleting the last message in an Email group causes a number of unread articles to be erroneously reported. Any subsequent incoming email will result in it being corrected as and when the offending email.whatever group has been opened. Temporarily avoided by not letting the user delete the last article! 3. Sometimes TTFN seems to forget what articles have been read and which haven't, and presents the user with a display showing all articles being unread. This is caused by not being able to open the appropriate NewsRC file, which in turn could be because <UserHome$Dir> is inappropriately set. Who knows, not me that's for sure... Fixed in 0.26. Occurred when a new group was created and TTFN hadn't yet grabbed a list of newsgroups. And there's undoubtedly more...
