Dear Gus, I have continued the adventures of Exile. Unfortunately when splitting the first three files to fit into the menu program, you appear to have lost a chunk. This was of no inconvenience to me, but there must be some confused souls out there. I have included this bit again. Re. your request for details of suppliers, a 15 page catalogue can be got from Bell Computers, PO. Box 418, Leighton Buzzard, Beds., LU7 7YN. on tel O9O8 37O4O5, which contains mostly Electron software and spares. Ribbons and Things, ( mentioned in a previous issue ), still supply ribbon cartridges by return post at `5.99 for two. Re. survey on disc drives, I have double sided 3.5 and 5.25. ADFS. Re. comments, to restrict what the mag covers to a few approved subjects, and to cater for a specified age group, would contradict the title of the mag - ELECTRON USER GROUP. I enclose a topical interest program, this generates 6 random numbers from 49, 5OO times, shows how often each number occurs and finally displays the top 6 numbers. You can alter the 5OO in line 7O, I've tried 1OOO which was about as interesting as watching paint dry.
