LETTER1

This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Dear Gus,
I have recently been in contact with a commodore 64 support magazine in America, who have expressed an interest in publishing a conversion of Shipwrecked for the C64. I have looked into this possibility, and found that the alterations required would in fact be minimal, as the graphics routines would be the only major area that would need re-writing.
Reading your "About EUG" section, I see that all such programs are copyright to EUG, and so the conversion would need the approval of EUG. I think the best solution would be to credit EUG as the original source of Shipwrecked in the C64 conversion, and then in any future software which I write for both magazines to credit both publishers. Would this be possible?

Yours faithfully,
