Twilight/Testing
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Twilight Programmers Reference Disc Testing effects Effects should be tested in 2, 4 and 16 colour modes (try 0, 8 & 12). If you have access to a multisync monitor, try it in multisync modes. Test this when the effect is selected (i.e. proper screen saving not demo mode) so that you get the different modes. You should check your effect works when it is being used to save the screen and in demo mode as these work in different processor modes. You should check it works with different sets of parameters, especially the extreme ends of their range. You may find it helpful to use the TwPlayer application for testing the effect as you write it. However, it only uses one processor mode and the default parameters, so you will need to use the Twilight application for final testing of both processor modes and different parameters.
