This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

ReadMe for !OnePrint

Double clicking on the !OnePrint icon will load it onto the icon
bar. Clicking on the icon will then open two windows. In one
you may enter, load and save text. In the other you may set the
printer type style, and left and right margins. Make sure that
you have selected your printer on the menu, then when you press
'Print', the text is printed. As many lines as shown on the
screen are printed. Size the window to print more or less lines.
What is !OnePrint for?
----------------------
* !OnePrint is a utility for printing that odd bit of
text that you can't be bothered to load the word processor
for. It allows easy control of your printers type style, and
position of print in the x direction. I use it to print the
occassional address label, dragging the marked address block
from any editor on to the !OnePrint window. Then set the
style and the left margin for the label position and press
'Print'.
* !OnePrint has a built in test page to help you compare the
quality of output and the print styles of printers.
* !OnePrint is written in structured, readable, commented
BASIC. In particular it is an example of how application to
application communication can be programmed, either via
disk or RAM.
* !OnePrint is supplied configured for Star NL10, Epson and
Cannon BJ printers. You may add you own printer by editing
the BASIC source.
Why did I give it to you?

Well, it is really an advert. Ivoryash currently have the
following two products that may be purchased from the address
below.
* Multitasking Serial Link - Archimedes to BBC micro.
The multitasking serial link enables files to be transfered between
the Archimedes computer and the BBC micro. The link software installs
itself on the Archimedes icon bar, just as though an additional drive
was installed. Clicking on the BBC icon lists all the BBC files in
a directory viewer. The files are shown with approximated file types,
together with any other directories.
Transfer of files between the machines is then a simple matter of
dragging an icon from the BBC directory viewer, to the directory
viewer on the Archimedes. This allows very easy transfer of files,
or groups of files between the two machines. The link also allows the
transfer of files directly to applications eg !Edit and !Pipedream.
The link is fully RISC OS multitasking, allowing it to remain on
the icon bar for use whenever it is required. It is compatible with
BBC B or BBC Master micros fitted with either DFS or ADFS filing
systems. It is compatible with all Archimedes machines, although
the A3000 will need the optional serial link fitting.

* Multitasking Teletext display for Morley teletext adaptor.
The multitasking teletext display is for use with the Morley
Electronics Teletext adapter, connected to any Acorn Archimedes
computer. Other teletext adapters are not supported.
Using the multitasking teletext display means that you can see
Oracle and Ceefax in a window on the RISC OS desktop. This is an
ideal arrangement as it allows you to continue with other computer
work while the pages you wish to see are searched for.
The software is mouse controlled. To select another page you
simply point the mouse at the page number, and click. Mouse
selection may also be used on the four fasttext buttons at the
bottom of the screen.
As well as the usual teletext features of 'hold' and 'reveal',
the software features a 10 page memory. This allows you to review
any of the last 10 pages received.
You may save the teletext page to either a file, or drag it
directly onto an application for inclusion in a document or letter.
Stored files may be dragged back onto the !Teletext software for
redisplay or printing at a later date.
