This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Help on LiteUtils ==== == ========= Mouse movement :- Either hold down Alt or have Continuous selected, and use the arrows. Also use Shift for 2x speed, Ctrl for 4x speed and Shift+Ctrl for 8x speed. To remember the mouse position press Alt+Ctrl+R. To go to that position press Alt+Ctrl+G. Work protection :- If you ever need to protect your work from prying hands but want to leave the computer on, use this part of the program. It allows you to set a password, and then blanks the screen and freezes the computer until the password is entered correctly (case irrelevant). If you forget it, then you have lost everything in application memory, so be careful. This can be disabled by clicking on Enabled in its submenu. Shortcut :- Alt+Ctrl+Shift+P Iconspriting :- This is to prevent having to resort to the command-line. Drag a Sprite file or an Application and the sprites will be iconsprited. This is particularly useful if you use Ctrl when opening a directory (on RISCOS3). Please note that the Defaults option will only work under RISCOS3, since it accesses the Resources directory.
