This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

CHelp by Gareth Boden Chelp is a set of files to provide online help for anyone programming in the C language. Help is given on the keywords and construction of the language itself, and also on the use of functions. Several libraries are explained in detail, including the Shared C library (for ANSI functions) and WIMP libraries from Acorn, Beebug, DeskLib and TimsLib. The help is provided in a hypertext document for use by Guttorm Vik's StrongHelp program, which is also supplied. Run StrongHelp and click with Select on its icon bar icon. This will open a window from which you can use the CHelp manual. StrongHelp is normally supplied with other help files - these have been omitted here for space reasons.
