This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Help for DataLoad ------------------------------------------------------------------ This application is is a demonstration designed to show you how an EvntShell program can be set up to load datafiles. This application responds to load events for files of type &200 (when the file is dragged to the icon bar icon) and template files (when a template file is dropped on the 'load target' icon in the window opened when SELECT is clicked on the icon bar icon). This application supports interactive help via Acorn's Help application. How To Use ------------------------------------------------------------------ Click SELECT on the icon bar icon to obtain the main window and drag a template file to the 'load target' icon. Alternatively drag a file of type &200 (one is supplied with the application) to the icon bar icon, or double click SELECT on the datafile icon in a directory display. Conditions of Use ------------------------------------------------------------------ This application is SHAREWARE and is part of the EvntShell library system. This means that if you make use of EvntShell to write your own programs you are expected to register your copy which costs �5.00 or 15Dm. I do not give any guarantee that it is free of bugs, or supply any warranty about its suitability for use. However if there are any problems with it and you notify me of them then I will do my best to rectify them given the time and the ability. You are may give this application to anyone, via any medium, so long as :- 1) It is delivered with ALL the supplied files and unaltered (except !Run and !Boot). 2) It is not supplied on a disc you are charging for (except for media and postage costs). You have permission to use any part or the whole application in any ShareWare/Public Domain project, ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOUR COPY, as long as I am fully credited (a sample of the note I would like included with all applications using EvntShell can be found in the ShellSys directory called 'HelpText').
