Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Style sheets containing instruments
Style sheet options

CREATING A STYLE SHEET
� Start a new score
� Set up the options listed below to suit a
particular type of score
� Save the file under a suitable name without
putting any music in.
� Later, when you want to transcribe a score
in the style defined by the style sheet,
reopen the file and the options will all be
set up as before. Make sure that when you
resave the score you give it a new filename,
otherwise it will replace the style sheet.
STYLE SHEETS CONTAINING INSTRUMENTS
You can make a more elaborate style sheet
by creating several instruments before you
save it. This is particularly useful for
orchestras, because although they have a
large number of instruments the actual
selection is fairly standard. You can delete
any instruments you don't need after reload-
ing.
Style sheets containing instruments are also
useful for including unusual instruments
which aren't predefined, or instrument names
in foreign languages.

System separators - displays a thick double
line between systems, to make it more
obvious in large scores when more than one
system appears on a page. Sibelius
switches the option on automatically when
you create ten staves, but you can switch
it off again
