This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Tue 07th April 1998 Owain Cole � Visions of the Impossible. Why? =--= Yet another blunder by Acron means that the DOSMapper thingy only works if your files are of type DOS. Unfortunatly, you can't SetType recusivly from the desktop. So this does it for you. How? =--= Just drag a PC partition file (or a directory or archive) to the icon bar and it will set all of the files inside (except those in internal archives / imagefilingsystemfiles) to type DOS. Automatically, DOSMapper will intercept this call if the file has an extension it recognises, and retype it to what it should be. Owain Cole, Shieling, Fllet Lane, Twyning, Glos.
