This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

| This is the Oddball Keys file. It�s just a normal Obey file which is run | when Oddball loads. It allows you to set up the function keys to perform | a set of Oddball menu operations. Oddball returns the previous | key definitions when it ends. Key 12 ��2�����<13>��66 | This sets up F12 as a �Boss Key�. When pressed during a game it will save | the current game in slot 6 and then exit to the desktop. This is how it | works: | The string after �Key 12� is what you would type if you were making the | menu selction yourself. | The two � get you out of whatever menu you are in. | The 2 selects �Save Game� from the menu | The five � move to the bottom of the save menu. | The <13> emulates the return key. | Again the two � get out of any menu that you are in. | The 66 selects �Exit to Desktop� from the menu. For safety, you need to | press 6 twice to exit the game. | Get the idea? The arrows, by the way, are entered by holding down the Alt | key whilst typing in 136, 137, 138 or 139 as appropriate. Try it and see. Key 11 ��42� | This turns the music off. Key 10 ��12 | This starts the game on the �Expert� level.
